Job Description
Our client is one of the most renowned and longest-established design organizations of its kind in the world with studios in Europe, Asia and North America. With some 450 professionals, representing more than 30 nationalities, this company’s community embraces disciplines as diverse as psychology, cultural sociology, anthropology, trend research, product, interaction and communication design.
Design Shanghai is a new initiative from the Group in China. It will provide services to the Group Consumer Lifestyle, HealthCare and Lighting in the area of People Research, Trend analysis, Identity Design, Product Design, User Interface Design and Communication Design. It works highly collaborative with all other locations across the globe to drive the Group brand towards our Brand promise; Sense & Simplicity.
Position: Senior Product Designer –Shanghai -(Job Code:9111122)
Strong aesthetic sensitivity (although does not have to be a star at detailing a product design)
Strong communication skills (able to stand ground on design issues with people from other disciplines)
Enthusiastic, positive and flexible
Passionate about Lighting
A very good understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
Excellent visualization skills (photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Good sketching)
3D CAD, Rhino, V-Ray, preferably also Solid works
