JOB DESCRIPTION
Prestigious European company, world leader in the automotive design and engineering is currently searching for an experienced
ENGINEERING MANAGER
to lead the engineering team of the Shanghai branch.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan the Engineering activities and define the requirements list (resources and tools) and the related costs
- Define the Engineering team and prepare the macro plan
- Manage the budget, evaluate reviews in order to increase the margin
- Define and share the objectives and define the monitoring steps
- Assure the milestones and the design release
- Continuous improvement
- Coach and train the engineering team
Profile:
- 30 – 40 years old
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- More than 5 years experience in similar position in the automotive industry
- Experienced in design and engineering
- Ability to interface with clients, suppliers and internal staffs on quality and project issues
- Leadership and people management skills
- Result oriented, able to handle a high degree of pressure
- Open minded and resourceful
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Italian is an advantage
